El Aire acondicionado Fan Coils es un sistema de acondicionamiento y climatización de tipo mixto; resulta beneficioso en los casos de edificios donde es preciso economizar el máximo de espacio. Suple a los sistemas centralizados que requieren de grandes superficies para instalar sus equipos. El sistema todo agua es aquel en que en el espacio acondicionado hay unidades terminales denominadas Fan coils individuales en los cuales circula agua fría o caliente por serpentines y con ventiladores se difunde el aire en el local. según el esquema que se muestra en la figura, siendo un sistema muy utilizado en aplicaciones residenciales o departamentos, hoteles, hospitales, oficinas, clínicas, escuelas, etc.
